Route Service Delivery Driver CDL

About the role

As a Route Service Delivery Driver at Primo Brands, you will provide premium customer service to residential, commercial, and retail customers, accelerate growth through upselling, manage account information, and work safely. This highly interactive role requires the ability to safely operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV).

Reporting Location: Pennsauken, NJ

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial vehicle in a safe and responsible manner, follow defined safe work practices, and complete DOT required documentation on a daily basis.
• Adhere to safety policies, including the prohibited use of electronic devices while driving and reporting any on-the-job incidents or changes in driving status.
• Be courteous, outgoing, and maintain a professional image while meeting each customer’s individual preferences for product delivery.
• Maintain necessary delivery information on all accounts, including cash and receipts.
• Find opportunities to maximize efficiencies and bring actionable solutions to leadership.
• Act as a team player by supporting team decisions and assisting others when needed.
• Provide professional water dispenser cleaning services to customers while adhering to a strict quality process.
• Adhere to pricing and promotion guidelines set forth by Primo Brands.
• Upsell additional products and services to existing customers and achieve monthly customer acquisition goals.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to secure and/or maintain a CDL Class B with airbrake endorsement (Primo Brands is a certified CDL provider and can assist with obtaining this where available).
• Service-oriented with strong face-to-face sales skills.
• Ability to work independently, efficiently, and in different types of weather.
• Ability to effectively interact with customers in a variety of settings.
• Ability to lift and carry an average of 250+ units per day, each weighing up to 60 lbs., using product handling tools as appropriate, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Must meet the physical demands of the role, including sitting, standing, walking, lifting, stooping, bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to climb in and out of a commercial vehicle on average 40-55 times per day.
• Ability to work an average 45-hour week or more, including variable start/end times.
• Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card for the purpose of working for Primo Brands.
• Must possess a clean driving record, defined as:
  • In the last 3 years: only 1 license, no driving-related suspension, revocation, or cancellation, no disqualifying offenses, no more than 2 moving violations, and no reckless driving incidents.
  • In the last 3 years: no major driving offenses including DUI/DWI, refusal to test, leaving the scene, driving a commercial vehicle without a CDL, or at-fault fatal accident.
• Must be 21 years of age or older (DOT requirement).
• Strong English language skills to effectively communicate with customers and provide exceptional service.

Pay

$27.76 / hour + customer tips (paid weekly).

Schedule

Monday - Friday (Saturdays dependent on business needs). Start time between 6 am - 7 am until workload is completed.
