CDL Drivers
About the role
The CDL Driver role supports mission-critical logistics activities involving the transport and repositioning of a variety of government and contractor-owned vehicles and equipment, including heavy equipment carriers, refrigeration vehicles, passenger vehicles, fuel tankers, and school buses.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate and transport a variety of vehicles and equipment, including heavy machinery, refrigerated trucks, passenger vehicles, buses, and fuel tankers
- Secure various types of cargo in compliance with DOT and company regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and operational readiness
- Maintain accurate logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation laws and safety standards
- Cookordination with dispatch and operations teams to meet delivery schedules and mission requirements
- Respond to changing operational needs with flexibility and professionalism
- Ensure proper handling and transport of hazardous materials (if applicable and certified)
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) (Class A or B, as required)
- Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety
- Experience transporting heavy equipment, vehicles, or specialized cargo
- Ability to operate a variety of transport vehicles, including tankers and refrigerated units
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to lift, secure, and manage heavy loads
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Eligible to gain access to U.S. military base (U.S. citizen, authorized non-U.S. citizen, clean background, etc.)
Qualifications
- Hazmat and/or Tanker endorsements
- Passenger endorsement
- Experience supporting government or military operations
- Familiarity with load securement standards for heavy equipment
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting

Schedule
Temporary, on-call/as-needed basis depending on contract requirements
Work may include extended hours, weekends, and travel
