Route Sales Representative (Hospitality Industry) - $67-$70k starting

Auto-Chlor, a national service leader in the restaurant and hospitality industry for over 85 years, is seeking a Route Sales Representative to join our fast-paced and growing team.

About the role

As a Route Sales Representative, you will deliver valuable service to customers daily, using problem-solving skills to maintain and repair dish machines, dosing equipment, and systems. You’ll communicate with customers to resolve issues, conduct service visits, and demonstrate safe equipment use. The role also involves negotiating service agreement renewals, price adjustments, upselling products, and providing on-call emergency service in rotation (every 5-6 weeks).

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on dish machines, dosing equipment, and systems.
• Communicate with existing customers to resolve issues and provide tailored solutions.
• Perform service visits and demonstrate safe equipment use.
• Negotiate service agreement renewals, price increases, and upsell/cross-sell products.
• Provide on-call emergency service in rotation with coworkers (every 5-6 weeks).

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Mechanical inclination.
• Ability to lift and move up to 70 lbs.

Pay

Average pay range of $67,000–$70,000 annually, with hourly pay, overtime, and on-call bonuses.
