Route Service Sales Representative
Responsibilities
Drive a truck along an established route and service and sell within an existing customer base.
Deliver and pick up uniforms, shop towels, chemical cleaning products, and other rental products.
Build rapport with key decision makers, ensure quality standards, and proactively solve customer concerns.
- Grow existing customer base by upselling and cross-selling additional products and services.
- Negotiate service agreement renewals.
- Control inventory while working professionally, safely, and complying with driving and vehicle regulations.
Requirements
- Meet all DOT/Provincial requirements for driving a regulated vehicle weighing more than 10,000 lbs.
- Have an active driver's license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Obtain a DOT medical certification.
- Provide documentation regarding previous employment.
Qualifications
- A High School diploma, GED, or Military Service.
- The ability to demonstrate a strong customer service orientation.
- The ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
- The ability to work independently and self-motivated.
- A positive attitude, along with ambition, organization, and service spirit.
