Position Overview

Annual Compensation

Annual compensation ranges from $70,000 – $85,000, including a base hourly wage plus commission.

Position Responsibilities

A Route Sales Representative (RSR) is responsible for ordering, sales, and delivery of fresh baked products. Key duties include:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers
• Checking delivery vehicle daily, keeping accurate records, and reporting maintenance issues
• Expanding shelf space, creatively displaying in-store promotions and displays
• Maintaining proper product shelf life by rotating products
• Using data and marketing plans to build relationships and drive customer growth
• Working with customers to increase sales and drive customer satisfaction
• Adapting to work during customer’s designated service windows and non-traditional business hours
• Gaining knowledge and skills about the industry and working independently and as a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Sales experience
• Delivery driver experience
• High school diploma or GED

Essential Job Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card
• Valid state driver’s license and safe driving record
• Compliance with Fleet Insurance Guidelines
• Adherence to federal, state, and local rules regarding CMV operations
• Completion of RSR training after 4-week company-paid training
• Able to push or pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (optional)

Salary Range

$70,000 - $88,000/year
