Responsibilities
- Accurate measuring, cutting, and shaping lumber, wood, and other building materials
- Attaching building materials using screws, nuts, and bolts, and air-powered guns
- Building wooden structures, including walls, roofs, and flooring, according to design and blueprints
- Constructing window and door frames as well as staircases and flooring
- Ensuring the structural integrity of floors, walls, and ceilings by blocking according to blueprints
- Examining building materials to identify any defects
- Identifying deviations from design and troubleshooting manufacturing issues
- Performing cleanups of job sites by clearing away all carpentry debris and waste
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- 2 years of carpentry experience, including framing
- Physical strength and stamina
- The ability to interpret blueprints
- The ability to accurately measure to specifications
- The ability to safely use hand and power tools
- The ability to lift, push, pull at least 50 lbs; bend, stoop, and kneel repetitively; and reach above the shoulder to work
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective communication skills
Pay
The Pay Range for this position is $22.32 - $28.32 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule
- Hours of Operations: Monday-Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM with some overtime required, extending the day to 4:30 PM
- Breaks: 10 minutes at 9:00 AM, 30-minute lunch at 11:00 AM, 10 minutes at 1:30 PM
