About the role
Seeking an Air Ambulance Pilot responsible for operating aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations and company policies, planning and executing emergency and non-emergency flights, and collaborating with medical teams, ground crew, and dispatch for seamless missions.
Responsibilities
- Operate aircraft safely, adhering to safety standards and mission protocols.
- Maintain logs and ensure aircraft readiness for emergency response.
- Respond swiftly to emergency calls, ensuring safety and professionalism.
- Work closely with medical teams and ground crews for effective missions.
- Maintain accurate logs.
- Represent the organization professionally.
Requirements
- FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument or Airline Transport rating.
- Current FAA Second-Class Medical Certificate.
- Minimum 2,500 hours helicopter flight time, including night, cross-country, and instrument hours.
- Experience in emergency medical transport preferred.
- Physical ability to perform pre-flight inspections, lift up to 50 pounds, and tolerate environmental conditions.
