About the Role
Support air medical transport within a healthcare system as a Rotor Wing Pilot in Command, ensuring safe and time-critical patient transfers.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate rotor-wing aircraft for patient transfers.
- Collaborate with flight nurses, medics, and dispatch teams.
- Perform preflight planning and execute IFR/VFR flights.
- Adhere to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) protocols.
- Proactively manage risks and maintain situational awareness.
- Ensure safe flight operations and maintain communication with ground teams.
- Support mission-driven, patient-centered care in a team-based environment.
Requirements
- Experience in rotor-wing aircraft operation.
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulations.
- Excellent teamwork and decision-making abilities.
