About the Role

As an Air Ambulance Pilot, you are essential in providing rapid, life-saving air transportation for patients. You will operate aircraft safely in compliance with FAA regulations, plan and execute flights considering weather, weight, and fuel factors, and collaborate with medical staff, ground crew, and dispatch for smooth missions. You must respond promptly to emergency calls, maintain accurate logs, and represent the organization professionally.

Requirements

• FAA certifications: Commercial Pilot with Instrument Rating or Airline Transport Pilot
• Current FAA Second-Class Medical
• 2,500+ helicopter hours, including night and instrument hours, and cross-country flights
• Strong skills in flight planning, decision-making, communication, teamwork, situational awareness, and safety compliance
• Physical ability to perform pre-flight inspections, lift up to 50 pounds, and meet medical and environmental standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in air ambulance operations
• Night Vision Goggle use
• Turbine engine experience
• Night flight experience
• Residency within one hour of the assigned base
