Rotary Die Cutter Operator
Responsibilities
- Manually set up press, print, score, and die cut accurately.
- Inspect all dies before and after a run for necessary repairs.
- Ensure all bolts for the die cut cylinder are in place and securely fastened.
- Maintain quality control by inspecting boxes for issues such as loose liner, warp, correct size, die cut, and print.
- Become proficient in all aspects of the machine operations, including pre-feeder, rotary press, bundle breaker, and load former.
- Show expertise in ink management and color adjustment (including pH and viscosity).
- Perform additional duties as directed.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to multitask and maintain high-quality standards under fast-paced conditions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
- Must have strong mathematical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to work overtime, including Saturdays, as required.
