Responsibilities

• Work as part of a manufacturing team to increase productivity, decrease downtime, and limit waste.
• Assume an active role in all plant and facilities-related tasks, assisting with jobs on the plant floor.
• Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
• Maintain shop and equipment per 5S Standards.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure boxes meet required dimensions and have zero material defects.
• Lead machine crew with set-up and changeovers.
• Apply problem-solving skills to resolve machine issues.
• Stack parts up to 30 lbs. for periods of up to 12 hours as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment.

Skills

• Willingness to collaborate closely with production personnel.
• Ability to share ideas and solve problems effectively.
• Work with a sense of urgency to reduce machine downtime.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay

Starting salary: $26.45 per hour.

Annual bonus based on plant performance metrics.
