About the role

Are you ready to elevate your career by leading groundbreaking projects in the ropeway systems industry? We are seeking a dynamic Ropeway Systems Project Manager who thrives on orchestrating complex projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management for multiple ropeway projects, guiding them from contract signing through installation and commissioning.
  • Cook up and manage project schedules and resource plans, producing weekly updates for onsite activities.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively identify and resolve issues, and conduct occasional site visits to oversee construction progress.
  • Prepare comprehensive project reports, status updates, and documentation for stakeholders, lead project meetings, milestone reviews, and post-project evaluations, and create resource usage models and predictions for current and future projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field and/or 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in mechanical systems, heavy equipment, or ski industry infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Strong knowledge of ropeway systems and related construction practices.
  • Willingness to travel to job sites at least 20% of the time, and no more than 5 days consecutively.
  • Authorized to work in the United States of America.
  • Proficient in the English language.

Qualifications

  • Desired qualifications include previous experience using project management software such as MS Project or Wrike, previous experience with SAP or other inventory management software, previous knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, and PMP or equivalent project management certification.
