We are looking for a Roofing Service Technician with a strong work ethic and basic knowledge of construction or roofing. We provide extensive paid training to develop your skills in commercial roofing, including repairs, repair recommendations, evaluations, and preventative maintenance for low-slope roofing systems. You must be professional, presentable, and a good communicator, as you will interact with clients daily.
Pay
$23.00–$29.00 per hour (based on experience; average earnings exceed $77,000 per year).
- Overtime work and pay of 10–15 hours per week
- Three annual bonus opportunities: safety bonus (up to $1,500), individual performance bonus, and company bottom-line bonus

Responsibilities
- Follow safety protocols on the job and while driving
- Inspect problem roofs, perform repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance
- Communicate clearly and persuasively in all situations; listen, clarify, and respond to questions
- Complete tasks on time; follow instructions and management direction
- Drive a company vehicle to clients’ buildings daily
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of relevant roofing or construction experience, or military experience
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- 21 years of age or older (required to drive company vehicle)
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Ability to travel out of town for up to 4 weeks at a time when local work is unavailable (required)
- Ability to work overtime in emergency situations and weekends as needed
- Effective written and verbal communication in English
Physical Working Conditions
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly throughout the day
- Frequently ascend/descend ladders from 10 to 40 feet in height
- Remain in a stationary position for extended periods
- Work in outdoor weather conditions and extreme temperatures (hot and cold)
- Load and unload materials and equipment from varying heights
- Shovel loose materials such as gravel, sand, metal, snow, or dirt
