Roofing Service Manager

About the Role

As a Roofing Service Manager for commercial & industrial roofing systems, you will work primarily in the field with some office responsibilities. Simon Roofing, a 125-year industry leader with 66 U.S. locations, specializes in roofing service, restorations, and replacements. We seek candidates with a strong work ethic and extensive roofing system knowledge who are interested in growing with the company—whether through experience, earnings, or advancing into supervisory/branch management roles.

Responsibilities

• Make hands-on repairs, provide repair recommendations, and perform evaluations and preventative maintenance on low-slope roofing systems.
• Adhere to safety protocols on the job and while driving.
• Communicate clearly and persuasively in all situations, listen actively, and respond effectively to questions.
• Complete tasks on time, follow instructions, and respond to management direction.
• Drive a company vehicle to client sites daily.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of commercial roofing or related construction experience.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to perform basic algebraic and geometric calculations.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel when local work is unavailable.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays for emergency situations.
• Proficiency in written and verbal English communication.

Physical Working Conditions

• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
• Ascend/descend ladders up to 40 feet.
• Remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
• Work outdoors in extreme weather conditions (hot and cold).
• Load/unload materials and equipment from various heights.
• Lift heavy objects manually or with assistance and maintain a clean work area.
• Shovel loose materials such as gravel, sand, metal, snow, or dirt.
