Responsibilities

• Perform roofing duties associated with roof tear-offs: scraping with force, shoveling heavy material, transporting material.
• Remove clutter on the roof while maintaining a clean and neat work environment.
• Transport hot tar from kettle to work area.
• Clean and maintain roofing equipment.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug and agility tests.
• Comfortable climbing ladders up to 60 ft tall.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs or more.
• Capable of bending over most of the day and working on knees excessively.
• Ability to withstand extreme weather conditions and high temperatures.
• Capable of passing a government background check per project requirements.
• Knowledge of basic roofing tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, not required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience required.
• Experience with welding and use of cutting torches.

• Full-time onsite role.
• Ability to work safely and adhere to OSHA, state, and federal regulations.
