Responsibilities
- Coordinate electrical maintenance efforts for the Rolling Mill
- Work closely with Mechanical Maintenance to achieve the best maintenance results
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and product enhancement
- Ensure routine management efforts are followed and standardization administration as it relates to processes
- Auditing, coaching of maintenance/reliability improvement programs and standards, technical training, 5S improvements, development and implementation of cost and environmental control goals, development and implementation of new and current preventive maintenance and safety management processes and procedures
- Develop and oversee budget for assigned area
Requirements
- Four year college degree in Engineering, Business Administration or other related field, strongly preferred
- Eight or more years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Two or more years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment with exposure to maintenance and reliability practices
- Experience performing maintenance and troubleshooting on PLCs, drives, and motors preferred
- Strong working knowledge of industrial manufacturing methods and techniques involving the use of heavy machinery and related equipment
- Experience performing maintenance on high/medium voltage industrial equipment preferred
- Basic knowledge of business systems and the use of complex technical and engineering processes
- Ability to train and guide people
- Solid presentation abilities combined with good interpersonal and organizational skills
- People management skills a must
- Strong analytical computer skills
- Previous experience with SAP or other CMMS systems preferred
