Role: Keyworker - Linx NI78/09/26/1v-1

About the role

The Linx service provides supports to young people and their families to reduce the likelihood of entering the care system. The service works with young people currently in care placements and those who have previously been in care, aiming to keep them within or return them to the family home. The Linx model includes therapeutic support, crisis intervention, emotional support, advice & guidance, and partnership working to address barriers to progression and promote positive family relationships. As a Linx Keyworker you will work with service users to improve their quality of life within the community by promoting wellbeing, independence, healthy life choices, and training & employability options, while also improving outcomes for parents/carers and siblings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic support, crisis intervention, and emotional support to young people and families.
• Offer advice, guidance, and partnership working to address barriers to progression.
• Engage in and contribute to overarching statutory care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
• Promote wellbeing, independence, healthy life choices, and training/employability options.
• Support parents/carers and siblings to improve overall family outcomes.
• Demonstrate resilience and openness when working with complex needs.

Pay

Grade 5 salary scale: £26,679 – £31,325 per annum.

Schedule

Permanent contract, 37.5 hours per week.
