EHCP Keyworker

About the role

We are currently seeking six EHCP Keyworkers to join our Foundation Learning and Additional Learning Support department at The Bedford College Group. As an EHCP Keyworker, you play an important role in the success of our students through:

Responsibilities

• Oversee high-quality EHCP support, ensuring Section F provision is delivered, monitored and fully compliant, with a strong focus on learner progress and independence.
• Lead and coordinate person-centred EHCP annual reviews, producing high-quality reports and ensuring compliance with statutory timelines and Local Authority requirements.
• Track and analyse learner progress against EHCP outcomes, using robust systems to identify risk and implement timely, effective intervention strategies.
• Design and deliver PfA programmes and targeted mentoring to develop learners' independence, wellbeing and progression into employment or further study.
• Contribute to Quality Assurance through observations and audits, provide staff training on inclusive practice, build strong stakeholder relationships and uphold safeguarding, EDI and compliance standards.

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification with GCSE English and maths, alongside a relevant degree or vocational background, supported by strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and EHCP processes.
• Experience supporting young people with SEND and EHCPs, including leading reviews and working collaboratively with parents, carers and professionals.
• Excellent written, verbal and digital communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and maintain professional boundaries.
• Hightly organised with strong time-management skills, able to work independently and collaboratively to achieve positive learner outcomes.
• Committed to safeguarding and CPD, adaptable and responsive to changing needs, with a full driving licence and willingness to travel across sites.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification with GCSE English and maths, alongside a relevant degree or vocational background, supported by strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and EHCP processes.

Pay

Salary is between £30,915 and £41,085 per annum DOE

Schedule

37 hours per week – 52 weeks per year
