Responsibilities
- Receives incoming H-E-B / DSD loads
- Maintains wareroom / backstock organization
- Maintains sanitation / cleanliness standards for incoming merchandise
- Monitors / manages stock levels; communicates with managers and vendors about upcoming deliveries and vendor backstock
- Verifies incoming truck seals; completes seal reports
- Loads / unloads trucks; moves heavy, bulky product to storage areas
- Maintains proper backroom product rotation
- Moves between different areas of the warehouse to ensure efficient operation
Qualifications & Key Requirements
- Age Requirement: 18+
- Work Experience: Experience in receiving, in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Understanding of basic financial functions, advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills, advanced planning and organization skills, strong communication skills, analytical skills, PC skills (MS Office, H-E-B systems)
- Licenses/Certifications: Certified Receiver
- Physical Demands & Working Conditions: Constantly bend, kneel, stand, reach, squat, demonstrate the ability to lift loads up to 60+ lbs
