Robson Ranch Drugstore - Customer Service Rep - Part time

About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing a well-stocked and well-maintained department while delivering superior customer service. You'll ensure products are properly rotated and stocked daily, maintain department and safety/sanitation standards, and assist customers with their needs.

Responsibilities

• Stocking:
  • Stock and rotate items as needed
  • Assist with inventory control; load, unload, and move products
  • Organize, clean, and prepare the back area for night crew and incoming trucks
  • Arrange merchandise on pallets for a presentable department
  • Ensure shelf tags and signage are accurate; create/prepare signage as needed
  • Maintain standards in shrink, safety, inventory control, and sanitation
  • Check shipments for out-of-date or damaged products
  • Build, stock, maintain, and take down store displays
• Customer Service:
  • Provide superior customer service
  • Answer customer questions and assist with product selections
  • Help customers locate store merchandise
• Sales:
  • Merchandise products effectively
  • Use suggestive selling techniques to meet customer needs and boost sales
• Food Safety / Sanitation:
  • Clean and sanitize sales floor, display cases, prep areas, and equipment
  • Properly handle and maintain equipment operation
  • Comply with departmental SOPs and store operating procedures

Department-Specific Responsibilities

• Beauty: Knowledge of beauty and cosmetic aids
• Drugstore / General Merchandise: Prepare tags and signs as needed
• Grocery: Organize, clean, and prepare the back area for night crew and incoming trucks; prepare tags and signs as needed
• Texas Backyard: Passion for outdoors; complete Green Thumb training (H-E-B internal training)
• Entertainment: Knowledge of audio/video, specialty products, movies, music, electronics, and video games

Qualifications & Key Requirements

• Age Requirement: 18+
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Education: HS Diploma or GED (or equivalent)
• Licenses/Certifications: Completion of Company Orientation and Safety Training upon hire

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

The physical demands and working conditions vary by department. Generally, you'll function in a fast-paced retail environment, perform detailed tasks, and work with customers. Specific requirements include:

• Drugstore / General Merchandise: Constantly reach at waist, pivot, grasp; frequently stand, walk, etc.; lift up to 55 lbs
• Grocery: Constantly reach at waist, pivot, grasp; frequently stand, walk, etc.; lift up to 65 lbs
• Texas Backyard: Constantly reach at waist, grasp; frequently stand, walk; lift up to 65 lbs
• Healthy Living: Constantly stand, reach at shoulder, etc.; frequently walk; lift up to 50 lbs
