About the role
We're looking for an experienced Robotic Welding Lead to oversee robotic welding operations, optimize automated welding processes, and mentor production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll drive quality, improve efficiency, and support the growth of our automation capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily robotic welding operations to meet safety, quality, and production goals
- Program, troubleshoot, and optimize robotic welding systems
- Improve cycle times, reduce scrap, and increase equipment uptime
- Support preventive maintenance and new equipment installations
- Train and mentor operators and technicians
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Maintenance to drive continuous improvement
Requirements
- 5+ years of robotic welding experience in manufacturing
- Experience with Fanuc, ABB, Motoman/Yaskawa, KUKA, or similar robotic systems
- Strong knowledge of MIG and FCAW welding
- Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
- Strong troubleshooting and leadership skills
- Lean Manufacturing or automation experience is a plus
