Robot Weld Operator/Technician

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate robotic tack welding equipment
• Load, unload, and align workpieces in robotic welding fixtures
• Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, grinding, and fitting steel components
• Inspect and repair welds to ensure quality and consistency
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
• Absorb and assist with troubleshooting equipment and process improvements

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3–5 years of welding, fabrication, or related manufacturing experience
• Experience working with robotic or automated welding systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications
• Ability to communicate clearly and work well in a team environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and lifting
• Regular handling of materials up to 40+ lbs
• Work in environments with loud noise, moving machinery, heat, fumes, and varying temperatures
• Ability to safely use hand tools, grinders, and welding equipment
