Weld Robot Operator

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Set up, ensure accurate placement of parts, and operate robot weld cells.
• Read job specifications to determine parts and load sequence.
• Visually inspect parts to be loaded to verify they are of good quality.
• Observe machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction and report as needed.
• Visually inspect parts quality to determine accuracy of machine operation.
• Load finished parts on to cart for transportation to next process.
• Perform daily equipment inspections.
• Absorb and assist fellow operators when needed.
• Monitor weld robot tasks and recommend quality improvement initiatives to the welding manager.

• Basic mechanical aptitude. Ability to verify conformance of work piece to visual specifications.
• Dedication to ensure products meet or exceed specifications as part of our quality program.
• Must be flexible to be cross-trained in different areas of the shop as required.
