Robot Weld Technician

About the role

We're seeking skilled machine operators to set up, trouble-shoot robotic welding equipment and to train operators on their use.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the set-up, maintenance, operation, troubleshooting, and training of robotic welding equipment.
• Provide technical knowledge support for the Manufacturing Operations Teams while also performing duties of Production.
• Coincides and/or facilitates communication between Manufacturing, Engineering and Maintenance.
• Supports cost reduction, quality and process improvement initiatives as related to supplies and consumables.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience or equivalent training/education: setting up machines, operating specialized machines.
• Preferred Experience: Experience with robotics, jigs, fixtures and gas metal arc welding.
• Experience with troubleshooting to assist maintenance department and provide technical support.

Open Shifts: 1st shift 6:00AM - 4:30PM Monday to Thursday 3rd shift 7:00PM - 5:30AM Monday to Thursday overnights, $1.50/hr. premium Weekend Shift: 6:00AM - 6:00PM Friday to Sunday, $3.00/hr. premium
