ROBAR Technical Product Owner / Implementation Lead
Position Summary
Client is seeking a ROBAR Technical Product Owner / Implementation Lead to support the implementation and deployment of a future-state enterprise labeling solution within a global, regulated manufacturing environment. This consultant will partner closely with the Technical Product Owner, labeling business stakeholders, manufacturing sites, quality and validation teams, application engineers and implementation partners to translate labeling requirements into a scalable ROBAR solution. The role will support product definition, functional and technical requirements, configuration, integrations, validation, deployment and adoption. Direct ROBAR experience is strongly preferred. Candidates with deep experience implementing comparable enterprise label-management platforms in pharmaceutical, medical-device or other regulated manufacturing environments may also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject-matter resource for the implementation and deployment of the ROBAR enterprise label-management platform.
- Partner with the Technical Product Owner and business stakeholders to define the product vision, implementation priorities and deployment roadmap.
- Gather, analyze and document business, functional, technical and compliance requirements for enterprise labeling processes.
- Translate global labeling needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, configuration requirements and implementation tasks.
- Manage or support the product backlog, prioritization process and delivery planning.
- Facilitate requirements and solution-design workshops involving labeling operations, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, supply chain and technology stakeholders.
- Define future-state workflows for label creation, template management, review, approval, printing, revision control and retirement.
- Support ROBAR configuration and ensure that platform capabilities align with approved business processes and global standards.
- Coordinate integrations between ROBAR and applicable ERP, MES, PLM, product-data, regulatory and printing systems.
- Support interface specifications, master-data mappings, variable-data requirements and technical design reviews.
- Partner with site teams to evaluate local labeling processes, identify gaps and align site requirements with the global solution.
- Support the migration or conversion of legacy label templates, label data, product information and associated configuration.
- Collaborate with quality and validation teams to ensure the solution meets GxP, data-integrity and electronic-record requirements.
- Develop or review user requirements, functional specifications, traceability documentation, test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
- Support system, integration, regression, user-acceptance and production-readiness testing.
- Coordinate defect triage and ensure that functional and technical issues are resolved before release.
- Participate in deployment planning, cutover rehearsals, go-live readiness reviews and post-production hypercare.
- Develop product documentation, process guidance and training materials for end users and support teams.
- Establish product-performance measures and identify opportunities to improve labeling quality, compliance, usability and operational efficiency.
- Support transition of the platform into a sustainable product-support and governance model.
Required Qualifications

- Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Experience coordinating integrations between labeling applications and ERP, MES, PLM, master-data or manufacturing systems.
- Understanding of application configuration, data mapping, interface design and production deployment.
- Experience working within a regulated pharmaceutical, medical-device, biotechnology or comparable manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of GxP computer-system validation, data integrity and controlled application-change processes.
- Strong stakeholder-management skills across business, technology, quality and manufacturing organizations.
- Ability to facilitate workshops, make product recommendations and drive decisions across diverse stakeholder groups.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct implementation, configuration or product-ownership experience with ROBAR.
