About the role
The Roadway Project Engineer position is available in Milwaukee, Madison, or Neenah. The ideal candidate will have experience with civil transportation design and comprehensive knowledge of roadway projects.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with senior staff to deliver transportation projects
- Ability to work independently within a design team to execute project work plans
- Be accountable for budgets and schedules provided by the Project Manager
- Mentor junior staff
- Interact with clients, agencies, and other project stakeholders
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of diverse and progressive civil transportation design experience
- Licensed PE in the state of Wisconsin or able to obtain licensure through comity within one year
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience working with public agencies, private entities and/or municipalities
- Progressive experience with developing plans specifications, and submissions per DOT standards and requirements
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and client relation skills
- Strong organizational skills with a track record for adhering to design budgets and schedules
- Civil3D Designer proficiency
- Assure compliance with project CADD standards
- Ability to work independently and develop task deliverables in a complete and reviewable manner
