Roadway Project Engineer

About the role

Responsible for overseeing and managing road construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project plans that meet budget and timeline constraints.
• Oversee the construction process from start to finish, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.
• Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, including progress updates and cost analyses.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in road construction and engineering.
• Knowledge of local and federal regulations pertaining to road construction.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
