Roadway Incident Response Technician-3
In 2016, the Commonwealth of Virginia selected a Cintra-led consortium to finance, design, build, operate, and maintain the express lanes on Interstate 66 Outside the Beltway. This project will transform the corridor—approximately 22 miles from the Capital Beltway (I-495) to Gainesville (US Route 29)—by adding three toll-free general-purpose lanes and two express lanes in each direction, a state-of-the-art electronic toll system, expanded transit service, park-and-ride lots, interchange enhancements, and shared-use paths for multimodal travel. The $2.5 billion public-private partnership delivers significant savings for Virginia while prioritizing employee growth, internal promotion, and a dynamic, diverse work environment.
