Essential Functions
- Work with the General Superintendent to ensure the schedule is met.
- Manage all aspects of earthwork, including mass grade and finish grade.
- Supervise and take responsibility for the job site field operations, including daily production, cost, safety, organization, labor, and equipment scheduling and management.
- Oversee subcontractor management.
- Reviews estimates and understands costs and production, and schedules before starting.
- Responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily work for various construction trade crews.
- Avoid construction that does not meet plan requirements.
- Maintain accurate reporting records, including job quantities, time sheets, and daily management reports.

Supervisory Requirements
This position has supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
- Field based role
- Working on heavy civil and highway construction sites
- The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud
- Regularly works near moving mechanical parts
- Works in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt
Physical Demands
- Lifts heavy objects
- Walks and stands for long periods of time
- Performs physical labor under adverse field conditions
- Uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue
- Uses manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multilimb coordination

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. This position will occasionally require long hours and weekend work. Average +/-50 hours per week.
Travel
The role requires no travel.
Required Education And Experience
- 3-5 years of construction foreman experience
- Must adhere to OSHA safety protocol and work in a drug-free environment
Preferred Education And Experience
- Construction industry experience preferred
Additional Eligibility Requirements
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license before employment.
