Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)
- 3 years or more of related work experience with road and highway projects
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate is preferred
- Proficiency in utilizing AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation Geopak and/or OpenRoads
What You'll Be Doing
Collaborate often with senior engineers, perform various roadway engineering and design assignments requiring the application of engineering techniques, procedures and design criteria for projects ranging in size and complexity. Utilize drafting and modeling software, tools, and programs to develop conceptual and detailed designs. Perform design calculations including material quantity takeoffs and construction cost estimates. Assist in the production and modification of design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans and specifications for assigned projects. Assist in the preparation of detailed requisitions for material purchase, services, and subcontracts. Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications
Parsons is looking for a Roadway Engineer I to join our Savannah, Georgia office to support major regional transportation infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) and 3 years or more of related work experience with road and highway projects. An Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate is preferred, and proficiency in utilizing AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation Geopak and/or OpenRoads is required. The ability to communicate and effectively participate as part of an engineering team is also essential.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $63,600.00 - $111,300.00 per year.
Schedule
This position is part-time and works on a flexible schedule to accommodate project needs.
