About the role

We are seeking a Roadway Design Engineer in our Raleigh, NC office to design and assist in managing roadway projects across a wide range of infrastructure, from intersections and collector streets to interstates and interchanges.

Responsibilities

• Design and assist in managing roadway projects including intersections, collector streets, urban arterials, rural and urban expressways, interstates, and interstate interchanges
• Assist in developing project scopes, budgets, project plans, and maintaining project schedules
• Interface with clients and support the Project Manager in maintaining client relationships
• Mentor and develop junior staff and design/drafters

Requirements

• Roadway design experience with working knowledge of NCDOT Guidelines for Highway Design and the FHWA Roadway Design Manual
• Familiarity with NCDOT design and CAD criteria and experience applying them in plans development

Pay

$80,000 - $100,000 per year
