RN - Wound Care Certified - Days

Role: Registered Nurse - Certified Wound/Ostomy, providing expert nursing care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities: Serve as a resource for complex patient care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support high-tech procedures like wound care and central line management. Lead by example, support staff development through training and orientation, and ensure quality care aligned with hospital policies. Qualifications & Skills: Nursing degree (BSN or equivalent), Illinois licensure, Wound Care Certification, and at least four years of clinical experience, preferably in critical care. Current CPR certification is required. Key Duties Assess, treat, and care for patients across all age groups, considering developmental stages.Participate in care planning, patient and family education, and standard setting for clinical practice.Provide clinical support during crises and demonstrate leadership in decision-making.Identify staff learning needs, deliver in-services, and evaluate orientation processes.Adhere to hospital standards, policies, and procedures.
