About the role
Specializes in assessing, treating, and educating patients with complex wounds, such as pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, surgical wounds, burns, and skin tears, by developing personalized care plans, cleaning wounds, applying appropriate dressings, monitoring healing progress, and providing patient education on wound care management to promote optimal healing and prevent complications. Collaborates closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Schedule
Day Shift
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current Licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in Connecticut
- BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
