About the Role
Manages women’s services activities, workflow, and nursing resources, ensuring woman-, newborn-, and family-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Collects and analyzes health data to develop individualized care plans.
- Coordinates care delivery and evaluates outcomes.
- Promotes safe, ethical, and culturally inclusive practices.
- Acts as a role model, change agent, and mentor.
- Applies evidence-based practice to improve nursing quality and safety.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Maintains current knowledge of nursing standards and regulations.
Key Duties
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care.
- Evaluate practice and ensure safety and compliance.
- Support continuous improvement in maternal and neonatal services.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Valid RN license required.
- Certifications such as BLS and ALS or equivalent, depending on the state.
No prior experience required.
Skills
- Strong communication and critical thinking.
- Cultural competence and ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
- Physical ability to perform essential duties, including standing, walking, lifting, and patient movement.
