Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate resident nursing care and clinical case management
- Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and community partners to support quality care
- Supervise nursing staff, including scheduling, training, evaluations, and performance support
- Provide direct nursing care as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with policies and safety procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and care planning
- Respond appropriately in urgent or emergency situations
- Foster a respectful, team-oriented care environment
Qualifications
- Required: Active RN License in the State of California, Minimum 2 years of experience working with older adults, Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience, Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, Basic computer proficiency, Ability to work flexible hours and participate in on-call responsibilities
- Preferred: Experience in long-term care or community-based care settings, Knowledge of healthcare systems and community resources, Appreciation for the mission and values of the Sisters of Mercy and Catholic traditions
