RN Weekend Supervisor

About the Role

The RN Weekend Supervisor, under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, utilizes a general understanding of nursing principles and basic physical assessment skills to develop and implement individualized Nursing Care Plans, ensuring the needs of patients are met. This role assists in orienting and supervising nursing personnel, manages daily unit operations per shift, and assumes leadership responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized Nursing Care Plans.
• Ensure the needs of patients in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care are met.
• Assist in the orientation and supervision of nursing personnel.
• Oversee daily operations of the unit on a per-shift basis.
• Assume leadership responsibilities as required.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse License issued in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an approved school of Nursing.
• Possess physical assessment skills and comprehensive knowledge of nursing principles.

Qualifications

• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory capacity preferred.
