RN Weekend Supervisor

About the role

Aviata at Santa Barbara is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN Weekend Supervisor to join our team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional, person-centered care to our residents in a family-oriented environment.

Schedule

Every Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and oversee patient care in accordance with standards of care and practice and applicable state/federal regulations.
• Follow established facility policies and procedures while providing and coordinating resident care with other facility personnel.
• Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants during shift, including assigning and distributing work, performance management, training new staff, and ensuring work is performed according to facility standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an RN.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing/Rehabilitation facilities preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must possess current Wound Care and CPR certifications.
• Minimum of one (1) year of Wound Care experience required; two (2) years preferred.
