Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care.
• Coordinate care, perform patient assessment, provide patient education, conduct triage, and perform various nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with inter‑professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, using age‑ and population‑specific standards.
• Function within the scopes and standards of nursing practice per the Nurse Practice Act and state administrative rules.
• Adhere to the Sanford Professional Nursing Practice, which bases care on the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (preferred).
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs, or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
• Obtain and maintain any required department‑specific licensure, competencies and certifications.

Pay

Salary range: $29.50 – $44.50 per hour. Premium pay for every other weekend and every other holiday (time‑and‑a‑half for holidays and on‑call).

Schedule

Part‑time position with approximately 24 hours per week. Flexible scheduling available; Walk‑In Clinic hours: Monday‑Friday 8:00 a.m.–8:30 p.m., weekends 8:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., holidays 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
