Job Summary
Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a skilled RN Utilization Manager for a full-time, contract position in Middleburg Heights, OH.
Responsibilities
- Screening and evaluating patient cases for appropriateness and efficiency
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize patient care
- Implementing and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines
- Developing and updating utilization management policies and procedures
- Providing education and training to staff on utilization management processes
Requirements
- 5 years recent experience in clinical nursing
- Previous case management or Utilization Management experience
- Previous experience with screening criteria Cerner, InterQual, and MCG
- Unencumbered RN OH License
- ACCM/CCM certification (nice to have)
