RN Manager
About the role
The Nurse Manager, RN is responsible for providing leadership, oversight, and clinical guidance to nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care in full compliance with all regulatory and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Ensures that campus policies and procedures, State and Federal requirements, rules and regulations as they relate to nursing care are adhered to.
- Responsible for coordination and direction of all patient care.
- Carefully coordinates care and services with other departments/providers from the time of admission to discharge.
- Completes appropriate assessments, documentation, delegating data collection within scope of practice and acting timely on findings.
- Administers medications, completes treatments as ordered and accurately observes and monitors patient's condition on an ongoing basis.
- Trains and educates team members.
- Plans and directs work, completes performance appraisals, delivers corrective action to team members, and addresses complaints and problem resolution.
- Maintains safety of patients and team members. Responds appropriately to safety hazards and reports any issues to the appropriate person.
- Ensures that all staff follow the infection control policy and procedure.
- Charts, documents and communicates care related information in the manner dictated by nursing practice and facility policy.
- Captures new employee site orientation with the assistance of support staff.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing
- Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse within the state in which working and must maintain licensure
- Two years of nursing experience
- Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats
- Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Patient's Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations

- Bachelor's degree
- Previous experience working with seniors

Pay
The targeted Annual Salary range for this job is $84,000 - $95,000 Ecumen considers a variety of factors when determining new hire pay including experience, qualifications, and, when applicable, certifications, licenses, and education.
Schedule
Full Time, 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday Afternoon Time Hours (flexibility with start and End), On Call Phone rotating every 4th weekend among the leadership team.
