RN Unit Manager – Day Shift
The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at River Valley is currently seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to join our team! This is a day shift weekday position, offering leadership opportunities in a supportive and professional long-term care environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all supervisory duties for the assigned nursing unit
- Mentor and support less experienced nurses and staff
- Review and maintain accurate resident records
- Monitor resident care to ensure the highest standards of clinical excellence
- Address questions and concerns from residents and their families
- Ensure the unit is fully stocked with necessary medical supplies
- Serve as a liaison between the nursing unit and upper management
Requirements
- Valid New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years Long-Term Care experience
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Basic computer skills
