Key Responsibilities
- Conduct systematic nursing rounds to monitor patient progress, assess changing needs, and implement individualized care plans.
- Directly manage nursing staff on your shift, overseeing medication administration, providing constructive feedback, and participating in performance evaluations.
- Maintain meticulous records according to HIPAA guidelines and ensure all staff adhere strictly to local, state, federal, and facility policies.
- Partner seamlessly with physicians, families, and the broader care team to ensure holistic recovery and clear discharge education.
Qualifications
- Licence: An active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wisconsin.
- Leadership & Teamwork: Proven capability to work autonomously when making critical unit decisions, while fostering a collaborative, team-first environment.
- Clinical Experience: Prior management or supervisory experience is preferred. Experience in long-term care, inpatient, or palliative environments is highly advantageous.
- Tech Proficiency: Solid working knowledge of computers and standard Electronic Health Records (EHR) platforms.
