RN Unit Manager

Full-time position with full benefits eligibility. Pay is negotiable, starting at $50,000 and up. Opportunities for advancement available.

We provide skilled nursing care to people recently discharged from the hospital, needing therapy, and to those requiring long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, implementing, and continually updating individual care plans, supplementing hands-on care needs
• Complete admission, discharge, and other assessments as needed
• Handle acute health changes, physicians' orders, and collaborate with care providers and families
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, county, and company health/safety regulations
• Audit documentation and care for quality control and compliance
• Communicate changes in resident conditions to families and providers, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team
• Provide ongoing training, orientation, and performance evaluations for staff
• Manage staffing schedules and assignments

Requirements

• Licensed to work within the State of Maryland as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Able to pass background check, drug screen, professional references check, and physical evaluation
• High level understanding of leadership, customer service, and clinical competency
• Leadership experience in a long-term care setting
• Prior long-term care experience required
