RN Triage - OBGYN

Position: RN Triage – OBGYN Location: Naperville Type: Part-time, 24 hours/week Hours: M-W-F 8:30-5 Pay Range: $35.15 - $54.48/hour, based on experience Responsibilities Review patient voicemails and communicate with patients via phone or MyChart, directing them to appropriate care levels or providing home medical advice.Conduct telephone assessments, determine patient issues using nursing skills, and give instructions to patients or caregivers, evaluating understanding with teach-back methods.Identify high-risk complaints (e.g., chest pain, stroke symptoms) and direct patients to emergency departments immediately.Arrange appointments for non-emergency cases and escort patients to examination rooms, record vital signs, and prepare them for exams or procedures.Assist with immunizations and diagnostic procedures, including venipuncture, specimen collection, and office-based treatments (e.g., colposcopy, LEEP, ESSURE). Qualifications & Skills: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Illinois; CPR/BLS certification.Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Science and 1-year telephone triage experience in a medical setting.
