Role Overview The RN Triage - OBGYN provides patient assessment via telephone and in person, directing patients to appropriate care levels or offering medical advice. Responsibilities include reviewing voicemails, conducting nursing assessments, evaluating symptoms, and coordinating urgent or routine appointments. The role involves preparing patients for exams, performing immunizations, and assisting with diagnostic procedures. Qualifications & Skills Current Illinois RN licenseCPR/BLS certification from American Heart AssociationPreferred: Bachelor's Degree in Science and 1 year of telephone triage experience Key Duties Assess patient symptoms and needs via phone or MyChart, providing care guidance or urgent referralsEvaluate patient understanding and communicate instructions effectivelyHandle high-risk cases requiring immediate emergency department referralSchedule appointments for non-urgent casesAssist in exam room setup, record vital signs, and prepare patients for proceduresAdminister immunizations and support diagnostic procedures
