RN Triage - OBGYN

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) Triage - OBGYN Responsibilities Review patient voicemails and communicate with patients via phone or MyChart, directing them to appropriate care or providing home medical advice.Conduct telephone assessments using nursing skills to identify issues, intervene as needed, and educate patients and caregivers, documenting interactions in EMR.Identify high-risk symptoms (e.g., chest pain, severe headache) and promptly direct patients to emergency services.Schedule appointments for patients requiring non-emergency care and assist with patient preparation for exams and procedures.Perform clinical tasks including vital signs collection, immunizations, diagnostic procedures, venipuncture, and specimen collection. Qualifications & Skills Current Illinois RN licensure.CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association.Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Science and 1 year of telephone triage experience. Key Duties: Patient assessment, triage, care coordination, clinical procedures, patient education, and documentation in EMR.
