RN Triage - Medical Triage

Position: RN Triage - Medical Group Care Team Redesign Location: Arlington Heights, IL Hours: Part-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, rotating Saturdays 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM Pay Range: $35.15 - $54.48/hour, based on experience and expertise Responsibilities Include Reviewing patient messages and communicating with patients via phone or MyChart to assess needs and direct appropriate care or provide home medical adviceConducting telephone assessments using nursing skills, intervening based on patient needs, and instructing patients/caregiversEvaluating patient understanding, conveying information to clinical staff, and utilizing clinical resources for decision-makingAssessing urgency through EMR review, directing high-risk cases to emergency services, and arranging care or appointments as neededProviding customer service, resolving concerns, and participating in care coordination and quality initiatives Qualifications Current Illinois RN licensure and CPR certificationMinimum three years RN experience, with preferred telephone triage and office RN/BSN backgroundStrong communication skills, ability to handle high-stress situations, and physical ability to perform job duties Benefits include: competitive pay, career growth opportunities, health and wellness plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and retirement options.
