RN Throughput Coordinator - Evening/Night Shift

Position: Registered Nurse acting as Throughput Coordinator, responsible for optimizing patient flow through interdisciplinary collaboration, clinical judgment, and bed availability data. Responsibilities: Ensure safe, timely, and equitable patient placement; promote critical thinking and evidence-based decision-making; serve as liaison among nursing units, providers, and ancillary departments to enhance hospital capacity and patient outcomes. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; current Illinois RN license; BLS certification; minimum of three years in acute care nursing, including leadership experience. Skills: Leadership, conflict resolution, hospital throughput system knowledge, excellent communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, adaptability, negotiation, and collaborative teamwork.
