RN Throughput Coordinator - Evening and Night Shifts

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse Throughput Coordinator manages patient flow by coordinating safe, timely, and equitable patient placement through clinical judgment and interdisciplinary collaboration. Key Responsibilities Promote evidence-based decision-making, effective communication, and patient-centered care to improve throughput processes.Act as a liaison among nursing units, providers, departments, and ancillary services to optimize hospital capacity and ensure high-quality outcomes.Oversee hospital-wide patient flow and capacity management. Qualifications & Skills BSN required; Master's in a health-related field preferred.Current, unrestricted RN license in Illinois and BLS certification.Minimum of three years in acute care nursing, with at least one year in a leadership role.Strong leadership, conflict resolution, communication, and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of hospital throughput systems, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
