About the role

As a Registered Nurse, you will facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the healthcare team and patient/family to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. You will promote optimal patient health, well‑being, and safety through the nursing process, adhering to patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act, while demonstrating personal accountability for relationship‑based care and the organization’s mission.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records, and clinical data.
• Evaluate patient responses and intervene to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Develop and implement patient plans of care and monitor outcomes in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IV therapy, incision/wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Maintain thorough and confidential patient charts and records; document status, interventions, responses, and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Use information technology to communicate, manage knowledge, mitigate error, and support decision‑making.
• Promote, advocate for, and collaborate to protect the health, safety, and rights of each patient.
• Provide patient/family education by assessing learning readiness, needs, and ability; deliver teaching and evaluate its effectiveness.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma (or equivalent by endorsement).
• Current RN license in the state of employment.
• Physical ability to exert/lift up to 50 lb occasionally, up to 20 lb frequently, and up to 10 lb constantly.

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• At least one (1) year of nursing experience.

Pay

$32.01 – $53.90 per hour.
